Gratitude

Want an easy way to get out of your holiday funk? Gratitude is one of the highest vibrations and by consciously bringing it into your space- you can disrupt almost any vibe.
If you’re thinking- "Wait! The world’s a mess and there’s nothing to be grateful for."
I hear you!
Here’s a cool trick to help you shift things: try being grateful for something that isn't happening anymore.
Wait, what???
Yes! Gratitude for the absence of things has just as high of a vibration as feeling grateful for the presence of things.
Take a breath and let that sink in for a moment.
Have gratitude for things that no longer exist - like vexing circumstances or individuals, that are presently not in your life.
Think of a situation that previously existed for you- but doesn’t now...
and feel how grateful you are for its absence.
Let that feeling wash over you. Roll around in it for a moment. Try to describe that feeling using positive language so the Universe understands what you want.
For example: “I’m happy the dog’s not barking” (negative) is reworded to “I’m loving this silence.” (positive)
As often as you can, pay attention to the peace you experience from the absence of things.
If you’re really stuck - here are some examples:
the absence of pain after a headache dissipates- “I’m happy to be pain free”
the absence of tension with a person you no longer interact with- “I’m grateful that ended.”
Sit for a moment and contemplate the lovely space you have in your life because someone/thing is no longer in it. Now notice that you feel lighter and more relaxed :) Have fun with this and holiday funk be gone!
Gratitude...it does a body good.
